The Information Technology Department is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Manager of the AI Development Team. We are on the hunt for a dynamic leader, deeply familiar with artificial intelligence technologies and methodologies, to spearhead our AI initiatives. As the industry moves rapidly towards more intelligent solutions, this role will be at the epicenter of our AI-driven transformation and innovation, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the technology landscape.

• Lead, mentor, and manage the AI development team, emphasizing the development of conversational AI applications using OpenAI's ChatGPT and Azure technologiFoster a culture of innovation and continuous learning focused on conversational AI solutioDefine and refine the strategic direction and objectives for conversational AI projects, ensuring they align with broader organizational goals, particularly enhancing CRM and case management systems.
• Collborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
• Oversee the complete AI development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality solutions.
• Facilitate the design, development, and fine-tuning of machine learning and deep learning models.
• Regularly review and optimize AI development processes and methodologies for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI, ensuring the team's skills and technologies are updated.
• Manage team resources, budgets, and timelines, ensuring optimal allocation and project success.
• Foster an environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and risk-taking.
• Develop and implement software using .Net, JavaScript, Python, SQL Server, and DevOps.
• Leverage health care payer working experience to understand and address specific industry challenges and needs.
• Ensure compliance with health care regulations and standards in AI solution development and deployment.
• Collaborate with the data management team to ensure the availability, integrity, and security of data used in AI projects.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of AI solutions.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, resolving complex AI-related issues.
• Promote a customer-centric approach in developing AI solutions, ensuring they meet user needs and expectations.
• Coordinate with the training team to provide necessary AI-related training to staff and stakeholders.
• Participate in recruitment activities to hire highly skilled AI professionals for the team.
• Prepare and present regular reports on AI project progress, outcomes, and future plans to senior management.

• A Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in AI development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
• Proven track record of leading successful AI projects from conception to deployment.
• Deep understanding of the AI landscape, including tools, best practices, and applications.

Licensure and/or Certification Required

• Certifications in AI or Machine Learning would be advantageous.
