 Position Overview  
The MetroPlus System Administration Team Analyst role has been created in conjunction with the onboarding of the Organization’s member and provider portals.  The successful candidate will manage portal performance and enhancement requests; work closely with the portal vendor and internal business units to ensure optimal system performance; coordinate implementation of new portal functionality, including third-party integrations; manage portal permissions and access; and respond to any service interruptions/outages. The team member will work with the System Administrators, as well as work within the IT Application Support team. 

Job Description

  • Defining and managing user registration workflows, including the provisioning and reset of portal passwords
  • Managing administrator accounts
  • Assisting vendor and business units in defining and implementing portal workflows
  • Issue tracking and monitoring
  • Working with the organization’s Network Relations department to ensure accuracy of facility administrators 
  • Communicating to the organization’s Credentialing Department any changes to provider information noted through the portal
  • Communicating to the organization’s Customer Service Department any changes to member information noted through the portal
  • Working with business units to define portal reporting needs
  • Configuring system upgrades and enhancements
  • Maintaining system documentation 
  • Acting as liaison between IT and other Business Units 
  • Work with additional IT teams as required 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis
  • 1-3 years' experience in IT application administration
