Position Overview

The Intern will support the Sales and Community Engagement team in outreach, administrative coordination, and marketing activities. This role provides exposure to health plan operations, community engagement strategies, and membership growth initiatives. The Intern will assist with provider outreach preparation, event coordination, lead tracking, and general administrative support that helps the team maintain strong relationships with providers and community partners.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales team with administrative coordination and operational tasks.
  • Assist with preparation and logistics for community events, outreach activities, and educational sessions.
  • Help generate and organize leads collected through community events and outreach efforts.
  • Enter and track lead information in designated systems to support follow-up and enrollment activities.
  • Assist with preparing outreach materials, presentations, and event documentation.
  • Support social media and marketing initiatives related to community events and outreach campaigns.
  • Help coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications.
  • Maintain organized records and assist with basic reporting and data tracking.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the department.

Work Shifts

9:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student.
  • Interest in healthcare administration, business, marketing, communications, public health, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of community outreach, marketing, or event coordination is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience supporting administrative functions, events, or marketing activities is a plus.
