Position Overview
The Pharmacy will support the Pharmacy Team in enhancing Medicare Star Ratings through member, pharmacy and provider outreach to coordinate care and address and health benefit inquiries.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Member, pharmacy and provider outreach calls related to medication adherence and assist with bridging gaps resulting in medication access concerns
- Contact pharmacies to disseminate information to correct billing errors
- Work collaboratively with various departments to address any member, provider or pharmacy concerns
- Provide high-level, member-focused customer service
- Assist in other duties to support departmental objectives
Work Shifts
9:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrolled in a graduate program such as MPH, MHA, MBA, MS in Health Informatics, PharmD, or a related healthcare field, required
- Strong academic standing with coursework related to public health, healthcare management, pharmacy, data analytics, or clinical operations, preferred
- Previous internship, volunteer experience, or project work in a healthcare or research setting, preferred
- Previous customer facing experience, preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, clinicians, and internal teams.
- Comfortable conducting phone outreach, data collection, and engagement activities as part of program work.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, preferred
- Position requires excellent organizational, teamwork, interpersonal, time management, written and verbal communication skills
