The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Data Analyst manages data on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), integrates data of all campaigns and ensures data quality and consistency. The person reports to SFMC Data Manager, collaborates with marketing teams to execute targeted campaigns, manages user access, data, and system configuration, ensures accurate customer information, enhances interactions, and contributes to overall business success. The person analyzes data to identify trends, measure campaign performance, and inform strategies. The person works closely with the SFMC Campaign Manager to optimize campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data Quality & Governance:
     Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of marketing data across platforms.
  • Segmentation & Audience Management:
     Create data extensions and manage audience based on behavioral, demographic, and performance attributes.
  • Advanced Analytics:
     Analyze campaign results, user behavior, and funnel metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Dashboarding & Visualization:
     Build and present Tableau dashboards and analytic tools that help teams make data‑driven decisions.
  • Predictive & Trend Insights:
     Identify patterns in campaign performance and market behavior to anticipate future outcomes.
  • Cross‑Team Partnership:
     Collaborate with marketing, CRM, and data teams to ensure analytic requirements are met.
  • Campaign Operations:
     Support the planning and execution of targeted marketing campaigns in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
  • Automation & Process Optimization:

           Support and improve automated workflows to streamline campaign intake, approvals, and reporting.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analytics or a related role.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). Certifications preferred.
  • 3-year minimum in an analytical role specializing in data manipulation, interpretation, report writing, and data insight summarization/reporting.
