MetroPlusHealth is seeking a resourceful, creative professional with excellent project management, and networking skills to serve as Manager, Brand Partnerships & Experiential Marketing within the department.
This person will be responsible for seeking out and evaluating new brand partnership opportunities, managing MetroPlusHealth’s most strategic community partnerships, curating innovative, engaging and culturally relevant events and experiences, and supporting the broader brand marketing & communications team on overarching strategy. This person should have a strong understanding of the value of partnerships & experiential marketing in driving top of funnel brand awareness. This role will play a critical role in growing membership, incremental revenue, brand love, relevance, and loyalty for MetroPlusHealth.
The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with a strong network of local relationships. An event design pro with solid production experience and a passion for excellence. A community-minded individual who believes in equitable access to quality healthcare for all of NYC’s diverse communities—especially those most underserved.
Duties & Responsibilities
The following Partnership activities comprise 50% of the role:
- Identify, develop, and launch unique partnership opportunities to enhance MetroPlusHealth’s brand position and drive customer acquisition
- Actively source, evaluate, pitch and negotiate new partnerships while fostering long term relationships
- Drive the development of a partnership innovation roadmap and integration into broader calendar, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and business objectives
- Represent MetroPlusHealth throughout the local borough, e.g. community boards, chambers of commerce, BIDs, education, civic and social organizations
- Maintain and fully leverage the benefits of active organizational memberships
- Conduct presentations, staff exhibits and perform other activities to maintain and establish positive relationships with key stakeholder audiences
- Leverage relationships with local leaders and community media contacts to increase coverage and visibility of MetroPlusHealth activities
- Develop social media plans to drive visibility and attendance at all MetroPlusHealth events
- Analyze metrics for all outreach and relationship management activities to track ROI
- Partner internally with the Marketing and Communications, Customer Experience, and PR Departments to identify media opportunities to strengthen brand recognition
The following Experiential activities comprise 50% of the role:
- Develop, project, manage and execute MetroPlusHealth B2B, B2C, and custom branded events, both in-person and virtual
- Ensure all event-related details are expertly managed and on budget
- Hire and vet all venues, vendors and producers for events
- Concept and create all signage, lighting, event flow, ROS, SOWs for partners, hospitality, activations, premiums, F&B, staging, and sound production
- Work cross-functionally with members of Sales, Finance, Legal, Brand Marketing & Communications, PR, and Design teams on event project management
- Collaborate directly with Sales team leadership on custom event pitches, membership campaigns, and internal incentive events
- Deliver breakthrough consumer brand experiences, through outstanding organizational skills, overcommunication, and an exceptional eye for detail
- Build the MetroPlusHealth brand at festivals, industry events, health fairs, and all other affiliated events
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience in business development and brand partnerships
- Deep knowledge of the experiential landscape and producing cutting-edge consumer experiences
Preferred Education and Experience
- Mastery of key software tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Docs and Google Sheets, etc., required to build, deliver, and manage partnership/event-marketing tools and collateral
Travel
- Local-borough travel will be required.
- Personal vehicle is preferred.
